First time ordering from china garden today and I can honestly say that we very much enjoyed our meal, we ordered chicken curry, the chicken was very tender and delicious, crispy shredded beef, egg fried rice and half chicken and pawn balls, this was all very tasty. The reason for the 4 star was simply that we was told 30 to 45 minutes for delivery, but ended up 1:30 minutes this wasn't a problem, but I think maybe better communication between kitchen and front desk would be better, maybe they can change that after I try the Kung po pawns and BBQ ribs next time.

We called at 5pm for a takeaway and was told it was busy (NYE) and would be 1 hour / 1 hour and a half. I called after 2 hours 15 minutes of waiting for the delivery to be told it would be at least another 45 minutes . I asked if I could collect and was told the food could not be hurried along. If I was told I would be waiting 3 hours for a very small order then there is no way we would have sat waiting. Terrible service and we have been loyal customers to this business which is really dissapointing.

Really impressed. I had the combination sweet and sour and was lovely and a good large portion. Rice was great and the chips were really nice. Highly recommended

Food isn't bad, although it's a little bit pricey. They deliver, although you have to check your order because they seem to forget to put in your prawn crackers now and again. The lad who works in there is a star, polite and even brought my prawn crackers over to me after they forgot them. The lady who takes the orders however is very abrupt and lazy in her ways. Had a terrible attitude when I phoned in to say I had not received the full order, got the young lad to do the dirty work, by sending him over with the prawn crackers, when it was her who took the order. Last resort chinese for me.

Called to ask where our order was as it had not arrived by the time it stated it would and the man on the phone was extremely rude. I only asked where are food was and he got very hostile with me. So much so I just hung up it wasn’t nice and for that reason will no longer order from here. Clearly needs to learn how to talk to people. I could understand if I was hostile towards him but I wasn’t and if they know the delivery will be late they should let the customer know !

Ordered around 8 different dishes sad to say nearly all of them were bland and tasteless in addition most the dishes were smothered in oil which drowned out what little taste there was.
The spring rolls were extremely over cooked practically on the verge of being burnt, the duck was overdone, dry and chewy the only things that were good was the ribs they were moist and fell straight off the however again they were kinda tasteless.

Flavourless, stodgy, and extremely greasy.
Satay was the best part, but pretty much everything else was really not great. Found a small fly on the lip of one of the cartons, too.
Will not be ordering from here again.

Best take away restaurant.Good service, good food.Mushrooms curry,soft noodles,mixed vegetables curry.Mushrooms curry was one of the best I ever eat.Thank you

Order took an hour but this was stated so no problem. Pleasant delivery. Food piping hot. No prawns in toast so threw in bin as over cooked..fried bread with sesame seeds..yuk. Chicken balls fab. Sweet and sour sauce was bland..a nothingness. Beef ginger and spring onion..no ginger? Beef was stringy.. I'm new here so guess I'll try another Chinese takeaway next time. Also bought chicken in broccoli..no taste of China there. ..left minced chicken and sweetcorn soup for tomorrows adventure into Brandon's Chinese cuisine. Always thought the delicious smells as I passed China Garden would be worth trying. Disappointed.

We placed a large order for delivery to Centre Parcs and were very impressed. The food was delicious, wasn’t greasy, and it was still hot when we got it back to the lodge. The staff were super helpful and called us 5 minutes before they left so we could meet them at the security lodge. We highly recommend China Garden and would definitely order from here again.

Had a take away and staff were prompt and clear about delivery. Delivery on time and was hot. Food was delicious, nothing missed considering such a big order. Also delivered upto the security gates at centre parcs

Absolutely horrible. The rice was undercooked, the chips were full of onions and red peppers, and were cold and soggy. The gravy was like gravy flavoured water. Waited almost 2 hours for delivery and this is what I get.

Ordered a plain Singapore chow mein and got a plain chow mein with sliced red chilli peppers. It ruined the meal. Singapore chow mein is mildly spicy by the addition of curry powder, not red hot chilli peppers sliced up! I even clarified with the woman that I don't want it spicy. Won't order again. Shame as the rice, chips and curry sauce were nice.

Pork balls were amazing, lovely thin crisp batter , we also had chicken fried rice and chicken chow mien, all excellent , thank you, always lovely cheerful lady answering the phone too , just red ring again

Got a takeaway delivered to me from here. I selected ASAP but wasnt given any sort of indication as to when it would actually be delivered. After an hour I decided to call them and they said it would be to me in about 20 minutes which it was. The food was nice, just the lack of communication was the let down.

Disgusting.. if you want a litre of oil in one prawn toast then sure. Would taste and smell thousand times better if you just buy froze one. At least oil wouldn't drip from food. The only good thing was sea weed. Will not eat there again

Ordered from just eat. Shredded chilli beef smelt and tasted gone off. The prawn toast wasn't even what I got. First time ordering and very disappointed. The delivery driver was rude and started chatting nasty comments about my dog aswel when all he did was bark to let me know delivery was here.

This place is amazing. We haven't been able to have Chinese because of allergies but China garden make most items on site from scratch that dishes can be made so that we can eat them with no issues. Best Chinese in the area and can't recommend it enough.

Ordered a takeaway delivery to centre parcs.
Food arrived in good time.
Food was nice and reasonably priced however a portion of rice was missing and the Chicken in black bean sauce was very watery and not much flavour.

Ordered on line, early on a Tuesday night - rang after 2 hours to see where our order was....."oh it's not left yet". When it finally arrived they tried to deliver it to a neighbours house. To cap it all, most of the food was cold. Won't be using again.

Very chatty staff , but found the food not as good as I hoped. We are barely 5 mins from our house and the food was cold. Think I will give them a miss unfortunetly.
